SENIOR PROGRAM SUPERVISOR

Micheal has always been fascinated by the hustle and bustle of the enormous Film and Television production industry and the community that surrounds it. He attended Vancouver Film school from 2011-2013 where he excelled and graduated with a dual Diploma: Technical in Film Production and Visual Art and Design.  After graduating in 2013, Michael participated in the CMPA Screen Based MediaProduction where he worked in collaboration under the stewardship of Force Four Entertainment's (now called e One) development and production team on various television series where upon completion of the Mentorship Program, Michael secured employment with Force Four in a variety of highly sought after production positions.

Some of these include but are not limited to, Directing and Assistant Directing on National Geographic’sseries, Border Security: America’s Front Line (2016-Present) and Border Security: Canada’s Front Line(2012-Present).  In addition, his experience over the last 10 years includes Field Producing on various Canadian Documentary Series’s like, Keeping Canada Alive (2015-Present),  including work as a Camera Assistant and onset company grip as a member of IATSE 891 and 212 locals. 

By early 2018 Michael produced his first feature film Thunderbird (2021) starring Aaron Douglass from the monstrous hit TV series Battlestar Galactica (2004-2009) where it premiered to an enthusiastic sold out crowd at The Whistler film festival in 2019.

Michael’s passion for the craft of filmmaking is grounded in his deep understanding of what’s needed to get started and create stability in the industry as a technician while working towards one’s goal of creatively becoming a filmmaker.

As a strong leader in his community Michael is no stranger to social and community rooted initiatives where his energy thrives by sharing his skill set and love for film with those who are looking for a place to start their journey in the rapidly growing and incredibly creative world of Film and Television.
